As wonderful as bookshare is, it would be nice to have access to ebooks from Amazon, Barns and Noble and publishers as well. I am aware of iBooks being accessible as well as the newer version of Kindle for pc.
Trouble is each company and e-reader seem to put out their own version of ebook format. The ones that do use the standard epub format often have drm.
Does anyone have any advice or comments on drm removal so that ebooks can be converted and readable with Jaws?
It can be removed, but its quite complex.
